WHO’S DRIVIN’ THE BUS? – CLAIMS MANAGEMENT

Who is running your business?  Is it the worker, the doctor, the WCB, or is it you?  Did you know that a doctor cannot decide if your worker is “off” work due to injury?  It is your business and that is your decision.

By attending this course, you will:

Gain knowledge of:

  • The importance and basics of investigating incidents and creating modified work plans for injured workers

Have the skills to:

  • Establish a procedure for handling injury claims that places you in control.
  • Establish processes designed to keep the best interest of the business and the injured worker in mind
  • Challenge those outside of your business who do not cooperate with established procedures, and those who attempt to interfere in bad faith

Getting your worker back to work as soon as possible is your most important job in this process.  The longer they are away from work, the less likely they are to ever return.

Complete the registration form and submit to SHSA.

Please note: Cancellations must be made not less than 10 days prior to the course date or the payments will be forfeited.
