Qualifications, Orientation & Training

Employers have legislated responsibilities to ensure workers are aware of their health and safety responsibilities.  The need to be informed of the hazards and methods of control for these hazards in their workplace.  This course outlines how orientations and job-specific training are used to help meet these obligations and support an incident-free workplace. *This is a required course for Level 2 of our Hospitality Safety Leadership Certificate Program*

  • Why health and safety orientations must be conducted, what to include, and how to deliver

  • Why job-specific training must be conducted, what to include, and how to deliver

  • Who should deliver orientations and training

  • What records to keep, and why we need to keep them

Recommended for:

  • All Key Staff who will be overseeing and/or carrying out orientations or training, General Managers, Directors, Senior Managers, Human Resources, and safety professionals.
