Safety at Your Fingertips: Explore Our Resource Page!
You may have noticed that our website appears a little different these days. With the rollout of our new site, which is more user-friendly, mobile-friendly, and friendly-friendly, comes the inevitable learning curve for our members. This outline walks through how to access one of our website’s most valuable areas: the safety resources and policy templates.
This page can be accessed by hovering over the Resources header on the homepage and clicking on the Safety Templates button from the dropdown that will appear.
This page is a central hub for all our safety resources, including policy and procedure templates, informative videos, and much more. You’ll find dozens of free resources here, accessible to both members and non-members of our association. Our safety templates and resources are integrated with psychological health and safety principles to create a comprehensive approach to workplace well-being. These tools help organizations identify and address psychological hazards alongside physical safety measures. By focusing on both aspects, we empower organizations to foster a supportive environment prioritizing mental health and well-being, ensuring that all employees can thrive in a safe and healthy workplace.
Here’s what the recourse hub will look like. To find the specific recourse you’re searching for, simply click the + button to open the drop-down menu.
If you want to improve near-miss tracking at your organization, use our Near Miss Reporting Form Template. Start by expanding the “Incident Reporting, Investigations, & Claims Management” dropdown menu.
Next, click on the link for the Near Miss Reporting Form Template. The file will download to your computer and be ready for you to edit and use for your organization!
As seen above, the emblems to the right of each individual recourse indicate what type of file or recourse it is. The blue paper is a document, the green squares logo is an Excel book, and other emblems for videos, links, injury forms, etc. If you are having trouble finding a specific resource or can’t figure out which category it falls under, you can always use the magnifying glass symbol at the top right corner of the webpage to search for it using keywords.
If you have received a Safety Evaluation provided by Service Hospitality, you will find that the ordering of the resource categories on the Safety Template hub matches directly with the action plan you are provided by one of our Safety Advisors. This will assist in ensuring you can easily find the resources to align your organization’s safety policies and procedures with legal compliance and standards integrated with psychological health and safety.
We are very excited for you to explore our new website. We hope it offers a smooth experience while introducing you to valuable resources that will help build your organization’s health and safety management capacity.
