At Service Hospitality, our success is built on the expertise, dedication, and lasting commitment of our team. We are thrilled to celebrate three significant work anniversaries this year, recognizing the profound impact Alison Wall, Dara Miazyk, and Beyanka Maignan have had on our organization and the members we serve.

Alison: 15 Years of Leadership and System-Level Impact

We celebrate Alison’s 15th Work Anniversary, making her our longest-serving team member. Currently the Director of Strategic Partners & Planning, Alison has been instrumental in guiding our organization’s evolution, from early leadership roles to her critical work in strategy alignment and building strong external partnerships today.

One of her most significant accomplishments is the creation and ongoing development of the Mental Health Best Practice Group (MHBPG). Launched in 2017, this pioneering initiative has grown to include over 150 member organizations, impacting thousands through its focus on workplace mental health and psychological safety. Alison’s dedication to system-level change is also reflected in her national contributions, including her roles with the Conference Board of Canada’s Council on Workplace Health and Wellness, Minerva, and the Canadian Association of Safe Hospitality group. Her 15 years are a testament to her excellence, advocacy, and passion for creating safer, healthier workplaces.

Dara Miazyk: 10 Years of Brand and Communications Excellence

Congratulations to Dara Miazyk on achieving her 10-year milestone. As our Senior Communications Specialist, Dara has been an invaluable member of the team, continually growing with the organization since 2015.

Dara is our go-to expert for all things communications, branding, and marketing. Her leadership in this area has included overseeing our organizational rebrand and the revamp and ongoing maintenance of our website. A true testament to her growth is her role as project lead for our Annual Report, which she now manages entirely in-house. Dara’s creativity and attention to detail have shaped our public-facing identity and ensured cohesive, quality messaging for the organization.

Beyanka Maignan: 5 Years of Passion and Operational Excellence

We celebrate five incredible years with Beyanka Maignan, whose enthusiasm and professionalism light up everything she touches. Beyanka began her journey with us as Office Coordinator and quickly advanced to a Safety Advisor, where she made her mark leading youth safety initiatives across Saskatchewan, connecting with students and educators with signature warmth.

Now as our Operations Coordinator her deep understanding of safety, natural aptitude for organization, and calm, solutions-focused approach make her an essential part of our operations. Whether she was championing youth safety or starring in our training videos, Beyanka consistently demonstrates leadership, courage, and heart.
