Exposure to needles and infectious bodily fluids can pose a danger in the workplace as well as out in the community. Knowing how to effectively control these risks is critical to keep yourself, and others, safe.
This course will cover:
- Your legal responsibilities surrounding infectious bodily fluids, including the creation of an “Exposure Control Plan”
- How to empower your workers to be proactive and avoid potentially dangerous situations
- Introduction of safe work practices (eg. How to dispose of a needle)
- How to create workplace-specific safe work practices
