Kitchen work is usually considered a relatively safe occupation; however, statistics show that is not necessarily the case.  By understanding the most common hazards in the kitchen, including psychological ones, you can help ensure your and your co-workers’ safety.

This course will demonstrate fundamental kitchen safety training, providing you with the knowledge and skills necessary to work and supervise efficiently and safely in a commercial kitchen setting. A well-trained kitchen staff will prevent injuries, save time and money, and improve the staff’s well-being. Every member of the team should receive reliable and continuous training in all aspects of kitchen safety.
