Service Hospitality is excited to introduce OHC Essentials – From Roles to Regulations: a three-part virtual training series designed to take you from the basics of OHC roles all the way to mastering Saskatchewan’s OHS regulations.
This series is a refreshed update of our popular Your Safety Committee & the Law program. We’ve re-energized it with new examples, fresh safety concepts, and enhanced practical tools to help your committee be even more effective.

Part 1: October 23rd – Make Your OHC Shine
Enhance the effectiveness of your organization’s Occupational Health & Safety Committee (OHC) by understanding the essential roles and responsibilities rooted in OH&S legislation. This course equips Committee members with the knowledge and skills necessary to actively support a safe workplace, ensuring your OHC stands as a cornerstone of your Safety Management System.
Part 2: October 30th – Workplace Inspections
How often does your organization conduct workplace inspections? Who should be involved? Effective health and safety inspections are one of the most critical tools for incident prevention and play a central role in any organization’s safety program.
Part 3: November 6th – Incident Reporting and Investigations
Do you investigate all incidents, including near misses? Do you have an effective process to ensure all incidents are reported? Incident reporting and investigation are crucial tools for identifying and correcting workplace issues to prevent recurrence. By understanding the root causes of incidents, you can ensure the necessary corrective actions are taken for future prevention.
